MapmyIndia, today awarded the Auto Bild Golden Steering Wheel award 2010 for Best Product/Service for 2010

MapmyIndia, India’s leader in maps and GPS navigation solutions, was today awarded the Auto Bild Golden Steering Wheel award 2010 for Best Product/Service for 2010 for the MapmyIndia VX140 GPS navigator. The other nominees in the category were Carnation, Sony audio systems, Xenos car security and Micro halogen bulbs.

MapmyIndia is committed to introducing innovative new GPS products for the Indian car traveler. The Golden Steering Wheel award is an acknowledgement of MapmyIndia’s efforts in the expanding Indian GPS navigation industry. The company plans to launch more such products in the next few months, which will redefine the navigation industry.

The Golden Steering Wheel award was instituted instituted by the Axel Springer in 1976, the parent company of Auto Bild, and has been awarded annually since then. The awards are recognized in 32 countries and are considered to be the last word in auto awards.
